New floats for the Thermoquads

Got to thinking about past Clipper years and some concerns.  One problem that the club discussed at numerous tech. sessions and written up in news letters was plastic floats becoming saturated and partially filled with fuel.  This could and does affect performance since it changes the position of the float.  Some have changed to brass floats but then there is a problem of heat.  That's why Carter decided on plastic.  I recently changed my floats although they appeared O.K.  Cheap insurance, simple to do and it doesn't cost that much
