I just bought a '73 Javelin project car.    And the Javelin has no motor....since it's steering linkage is in front of the crossmember....a 360 Dodge truck motor would fit....and I keep looking at my clipper saying
Nahhhhh.

Can't sleep in your car.......

But I won't buy a Rincon Crate motor again.  Next time I'll try it myself.

So I'm thinking........my clipper is not fast, but it's not a dog in traffic either.......
So If I put the same motor in a car 1/4 as heavy....
oh my....
This is going to be fun.

Sorry to say it.   But I gave up on ever owning a realisticly priced '70s Mopar ever again.   Damn E-bay.   Globalized Yuppes.

Anyway.

Now all I need to find is a old Dodge truck to get an engine and 727...and maybe a Dana60 rear axle to have narrowed.......
Get some more CLipper 4.11 gears.....
yeah...

But then I'd have to make a subframe....if I want to do wheelies...and I bet it could pop them up.

Get some tinted Foster Grant glasses....and an fur lined vest....
and be like "Dude, Where's my Car?"

Or paint it Blue and put Waines World Flames on it......and when the cops pull me over for popping wheelies,  push my hair back behind my ears and ball cap and say " Ex squeeze me? "

Larry Ray... that's just our A-Dude, lol  Be glad he's not lying on top of his Clip, waiting to ambush somebody emptying trash again.... :)

A-Dude, there's a guy down here with a 74 Dodge Class C chassis only..... perfectly good engine/tranny, rear.... 4 new tires.... it's driveable.   Wants $400 for it.   Interested?
