This website's purpose is to share information with clipper owners and others who are interested in clippers or have old Dodge B300 chassis motorhomes.  In an attempt to share as much information as possible to as many people as possible PLEASE first post your questions in one of the forum boards rather than sending a PM to the webmaster or another member. This will allow other members to find information that may help solve their problem.  By PMing your questions, you decrease forum activity and create more work for active members who end up repeating information to individuals looking for the same information.  Thank you.

Hello my wife and I are new clipper owners and have small children and I don't really know how to go about securing car seats in it. Any ideas or points in the right direction would be greatly appreciated

You will need to install seat belts in the house area.  Generally speaking, you want the child seats installed facing forward, so that means you want to set them up on the dinette seat that faces the cab.  You'll also want to remove the dinette table while driving so that does not become a point of impact in an accident.

When you install the seat belts, you want to bolt them to the metal chassis - not to the wood base of the seats.  That will be the safest manner as the wood base can easily break apart in an accident.

Thank you for responding, I will see about accessing the frame for seat belts
