Title: Making Room In Front Of Clipper
Post by: Clipper Joe on July 31, 2015, 12:04:01 AM
Hi All,
Have Been Away For Sometime,
My Son Got Married Last Week In Kansas.
He Has A Wonderful Wife, Who Is A School Teacher.
So Now Maybe A Few More Grand Children, For Us. :)

So I Was Looking Behind The Grille On Wilson, My 1977 Dodge 440 Clipper.
I Have Notice There Was A Few Extra Items In Way Of Radiator. The Transmission Cooler & A/C Condenser.
So At This Time I Removed Front Grille & Relocated The Trans Cooler, Down  Out Of The  Air  Flow,
I Just Had My Radiator Serviced, It Is A 4 Row Core Copper/Brass Unit.
So I Also Repaced, The Clutch Fan With A Heavy Duty Hayden Unit, All Rubber Vee Belts, A/C,Alt, & Power Steering Belts While I Had Radiator & Schroud Off.
Also Replaced Thermostat While It Was Open Area. Installed Both Top & Bottom Radiator Hoses Too.
I Also, Replaced My Radiator Recovery Tank, Found It Had A Brittle Crack In It.

I Will Try And Add A Small Note In Next Newsletter On How To Replace A Clipper Radiator, And Some Part #'s On Clutch Fan And Parts Needed, For Cooling System You May Need.

Hope You Are All Enjoying Your Summer & Have Safe Trips On Your Clippers.
