We are not sure what to do.  The Escape Hatch is literally blown off and it needs to be replaced.  We tried to order from from the American Clipper parts, but the gal is returning our check stating they are out of stock.  Now what? It pretty key to the survival of us even owning the vehicle if there is no way to buy that part.  You can't buy that size anywhere that I've found.  Does anyone have any suggestions of where to go to replace this?

Thanks for your assistance.

You'll need to replace it with a new hatch that is slightly different in size.  You might try a Heng's 58621 - C2 15" x 22" escape hatch.  Try ebay.

See my post in "house remodel". I replaced our broken, leaking escape hatch this fall and there have been ZERO leaks through the winter. Remove the ceiling, cut away some insulation, install some new framing to accommodate the larger size and install the hatch. I'll see if I can get the photos I have posted. I'm better with hand & power tools than I am with a computer. I'm willing to bet that most of the old framing around where the old hatch is will be rotted.
