If you like the ocean, you gotta stay in this park. A three to four hour ride from the Bay area on coast Hwy. 1 between Pt. Arena and Mendocino.  The park has full hookups and partial with water, tv and electricity.  Nice level sites with trees, flowering rhodos. in May and part of June, and grass in most sites.  Very well managed and super clean!  Warm showers, heated pool and spa, play area with swings etc and community circular kitchen with stoves and sinks.  They have free hay rides to the beach, ice cream socials and karoke.  They have the typical koa gift shop with basic supplies and food items.  A great market is just about a mile south on hwy 1 in Manchester where you can get just about anything else you may need.  Temperatures can range quite a bit, but in the summer months you can expect temperatures in the mid to high 70's, with an occational day in the 80's.  The beach at Manchester runs for miles and because of the typography of the area, there are lots of crashing waves rolling up on the beach which carry with them, a lot of drift wood.  It is also a real good spot to fish for perch, a succulent excellent tasting fish.  Use small uncooked shrimp or night crawlers for bait.  Rates are in the high twenty to low thirty dollar range for full hookups.  Make reservations well in advance as this is a popular spot!  Check it out and hope you enjoy it!  It is a tranquil and peaceful place!

Have they widened that section of 101???? I had an accident about twenty years ago on that section of road that isn't wide enough to blow your nose and drive at the same time.

But the place sounds great!!!!!!!
