Abilene State Park Texas

Abilene State Park, just south of Abilene Texas has very nice camp sites with water and electric both 30 and 50 amp.  Many of the pads are rather short but they are good for small trailers or a class C motor home.  There are lots of trees and shade, picnic tables with small fire pit or fire circle, a swimming pool and shower bathroom facilities.  The State Park is well managed with officials on site and all rules apply.  It seems very safe.  The Abilene lake is near by for fishing.
