installing new sunpro guages

I'm in the process of installing new Sunpro guages in my 1978 Cipper but can't seem to figure out how to do the water temp guage. My temp sending unit is on the front of the engine but the hole for the new temp guage is to small. Is there another place on the engine that I can install it that I'm over looking? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
